The new Xaar 1003 GS12C Ceramics Printhead is the next generation 1,000 nozzle ceramics printhead from Xaar. Building on the market-leading Xaar 1001 and Xaar 1002 Ceramics Printheads which led the digital revolution in ceramic tile printing, the Xaar 1003 GS12C Printhead delivers a step change in print performance for ceramic tile manufacturers.
The Xaar 1003 Ceramics printhead family introduces an important new feature – the XaarGuard™ – which provides the ultimate in nozzle plate protection, and coupled with other design innovations, achieves the longest maintenance-free production runs in the industry – once per shift, or less. In addition, the new Xaar 1003 GS12C provides a step forward in consistent print quality across the wide print widths used for large tile, thanks to Xaar’s Tuned Actuator Manufacturing.
The Xaar 1003 GS12C printhead is fully backward compatible with Xaar 1002C and 1001C based ceramic printers.  This ensures that ceramic tile manufacturers can maximize the return on their printer investment with the ability to install the 1003C printhead in 1002C or 1001C based printers as a single head replacement or, to upgrade full print-bars or, even upgrade complete printers to take advantage of the improved durability, print quality and productivity that the Xaar 1003Ceramics printhead delivers.
