This DC 9.6V, 2.0Ah (capacity, amp-hours) Nickel-Cadmium (NiCD) Battery is a rechargeable battery that achieves full power relatively quickly (charge time ˜ 30 minutes), giving it a long practical life. This NiCD battery performs well in a temperature range of 14°F to 104°F, is relatively durable in comparison to other types of batteries, and is less likely to corrode when stored for long periods of time. It weighs 1.1 lbs and includes a cap to prevent short circuiting when not in use. It can be recycled at the end of its useful life.
