Nickel Catalyst (METCAT 999)

METCAT™ 999 are silica supported Nickel Catalysts manufactured by a innovative technology wherein the nickel particles are embedded in hydrogenated vegetable oil or solid fats.

METCAT™ brand catalysts are available for various hydrogenation reactions for edible and non-edible oils catering to various domains of oils & fats industry.

Applications

• Partial and full hydrogenation of Triglycerides.

Examples

• For edible oils like soyabean, sunflower, mustard oil, edible rice, bran oil, crude palm oil, Margarine shortenings, vanaspati.

The reactions listed above caters to most of the frequent uses & can be used for some more applications after consultation with our technical experts.

Packaging

• METCAT™ 999 are offered in 25kgs, 50kgs virgin grade PP woven bags with polyethylene bagliners.
• They are also offered in 50kgs HDPE carboys &175kgs MS drums as per clientrequirement.

Storage

• Material should not be directly exposed to sunlight and should be stored in a place were temperature is not above32°C.
• Shelf life of catalyst is 12months.
• If drums opened use catalyst before 2 months for sustainableactivity.

• Recovery & Re-Processing: Metal Chem India is certified re-cycler & license holder to reprocess spent nickel catalyst. The companyhas got authorization from CPCB, MPCB & MWML to recover, re-cycle, re-process spent nickel catalyst.
