Nimesulide in Nimpact-MD is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with pain medication and fever-reducing properties. Its approved indications are the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old.

Common side effects of Nimpact-MD:

Nimesulide may cause dizziness. If you feel dizzy, do not drive or take part in any activity in which you need to be alert. Nimesulide is likely to cause stomach discomfort such as nausea, diarrhoea and stomach pain. Be sure to take it with food. This will help minimise the stomach discomfort.

What do I do if I miss a dose?

Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor.
