Nitrocellulose

Properties:
nitrocellulose is resistant to water, dilute acid, weak base and various oils. It is difficult to dissolve in water, and it is soluble in acetone. It is easy to discolor when exposed to sunlight. It is highly flammable. Nitrocellulose has different nitrogen content and solubility because of the different conditions during nitration. Nitrocellulose is easy to explode and unstable when the nitrogen content exceeds 12.5%.
