OPDIVO (nivolumab) (nivolumab) is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with a type of advanced stage lung cancer (called non-small cell lung cancer) that has spread or grown and you have tried chemotherapy that contains platinum, and it did not work or is no longer working.

The researchers found that 60% of patients remained recurrence-free after 5 years. They also found that 80% were still alive after 5 years — significantly more than typical 5-year survival rates of 36- 68%.
