Noise Insulation

We offer a range of acoustic insulation that can be used to soundproof floors, soundproof walls and soundproof ceilings. Acoustic insulation should be used to increase the airborne noise reduction between rooms, sound insulation slabs are produced to a higher density than thermal insulation, when you using insulation to soundproof a room an acoustic slab should be used rather than thermal insulation.
Acoustic insulation slabs are available in four thicknesses ranging from 25mm up to 100mm. Insulation is graded in density per cubic meter (kgm³), we offer slabs ranging form 48kgm³ up to 140kgm³, please note this is not the weight per slab it is the density.
Acoustic insulation is widely regarded as the best way of reducing airborne noise transferring through cavities and voids. Use acoustic insulation inside floor and ceiling cavities to reduce the transfer of airborne sound. insulation can be used anywhere inside a building that requires additional sound insulation, new build and conversions will not only benefit from the excellent levels of soundproofing, it also has a non combustible Class O fire rating which will help separating floors and walls comply with Building Regulations. When high levels of airborne noise reduction are required use this sound insulation slab in all areas of a building that require noise control.
