It is a rock containing p2o5 in the form of chlore-apatite, fluor-apatite, collophane ca3 (f,ci) (po4)3. Phosphrite having +30%, p2o5 is put under high grade category where as the phosphorite containing less than 30% p2o5 is put under low grade category.
