Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml is a combination of rapid-acting human insulin and longer-acting insulin analogue to treat diabetes mellitus in both children (above 2 years of age) and adults. It maintains blood sugar levels in adults and children. Diabetes mellitus is a condition that affects the way your body processes glucose. In Diabetes Mellitus Type 1, the body does not make enough insulin to control blood sugar levels. In Diabetes Mellitus type 2, either the body stops producing enough insulin (the hormone which helps to decrease sugar levels in the blood), or there is resistance to insulin action. As a result, insulin is produced in large amounts, but it cannot act on the organs of the body.

Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml is a combination of two drugs: insulin aspart (rapid-acting), and the other is insulin aspart protamine (longer-acting). Insulin aspart has a fast onset of action, and insulin aspart protamine has a prolonged duration of action. Together, they ensure rapid and stable sugar control by enabling the reuptake of sugar in muscle and fat cells and decreasing sugar production in the liver.

Take Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience weight gain, injection site allergic reaction, rash, lipodystrophy (skin thickening or pits at the injection site), hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose level), and itching. Most of these side effects of Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Try not to stop taking Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml of your own. Let your doctor know about this, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms. Do not take Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml if you have liver disease, kidney, and low potassium level in your blood. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant and breastfeeding while taking Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml. Insulin is a cold chain medicine, and so it has to be stored in the refrigerator between 2-8 degrees Celsius else its efficiency might get lost. Do not store in the freezer of the fridge.

Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml is combination of fast-acting and intermediate acting insulin that helps lower blood sugar levels after the intake of food. Prevents the risk of having severe complications of diabetes. It stimulates the recovery of sugar in muscle and fat cells and thus suppresses the production of sugar in the liver. Novomix 30 100IU/ml Flexpen 3 ml helps in improving the glycaemic control which in turn decreases the risk of progression of complications of diabetes like damage of retina (retinopathy), damage of kidney (nephropathy), damage of nerve cells (neuropathy), delayed wound healing, diabetic foot ulcer and others.
