  ntmt granite surface plates are as a precision datum base for

inspection, tool marking, gauging, spotting, marking and layout operations.

 material:  granite surface plates are made from selected granites with uniform distribution       of light and dark constituents. It has a fine grind, non porous texture and grind size measures less than 1 mm. It has a constant hardness throughout 6 to 6.5 moss scale and 3 times harder than cast iron surface plate. It has very lowest thermal co-efficient of expansion, 100% rust proof and acid resistance, non electric-conductive and easy to clean. Maintenance costs are practically nil. If may chip but cannot develop a burr.  

 accuracy: granite surface plates are hand lapped and finally by experienced technicians. Final inspection is carried out by high precision electronic level with computerized software method to meet the requirement of is 7327:2003 and also provide nabl accreditation certificate.
