Advantages of lpg over kerosene / petrol
► owing to higher octane number lpg has an anti knocking
property which is comparable with kerosene / petrol.
► the outboard engine running on lpg will increase the life
of spark plug as lpg is a clean fuel.
► adulteration or spilling or theft of fuel is not possible.
► lpg reaches the engine in pure form resulting in an im
proved air/fuel mixture and enables refined combustion.
► there is hardly any discharge of co as compared to petrol
and kerosene since the exhaust fumes contains less harmful
substances. The co emissions are around 80% less
than petrol and kerosene. Hydrocarbon emissions are 60%
less than petrol and kerosene.
► existing fuel system is suitable for lpg as well as petrol as
an option and thus increases the flexibility of the usages of
the mode of fuel.
► lpg kit will be fitted with dual fuel choice without any
major modification.
► with lpg user will get the same power as get on
kerosene /petrol.
► in stopped condition of engine; user is safe from leakage of
lpg as the lpg regulator works on vacuum principle. As
such when the engine stops, gas supply also stops automatically
and thus avoids the leakage of gas.
► in case leakage of gas it can be identify by the smell
