A 100 kVA three-phase oil-cooled servo stabilizer works by automatically and continuously adjusting the output voltage to a consistent level, protecting sensitive industrial equipment from voltage fluctuations. This is achieved using a closed-loop control system that monitors the incoming voltage and makes corrections without interrupting the power supply.

    How the stabilizer works
The stabilization process relies on the interaction of several key components:
      1. Voltage sensing: An electronic control circuit or microprocessor continuously monitors the incoming voltage from each of the three phases.
      2. Error detection: If the incoming voltage rises or drops beyond a preset value, the control circuit detects the deviation (error) and calculates the necessary correction.
      3. Servo motor activation: The control circuit sends a signal to a servo motor, instructing it to turn either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
      4. Voltage adjustment (variac): The servo motor is connected to the shaft of a variable auto-transformer (variac). As the motor rotates, it moves the carbon brushes or rollers on the variac's copper windings. This changes the voltage at the variac's output.
      5. Buck-boost transformer: The output from the variac is fed to a buck-boost transformer. This transformer either adds (boosts) or subtracts (bucks) voltage from the main incoming power supply to correct the voltage variation.
