Optical Amplifiers (EDFA)

The Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFA) has become one of the key products required in the day-to-day activities like communication, entertainment, etc. This ubiquitous presence & requirement has led to the development of first indigenous EDFA that meets all the current & future requirement of the users at optimal cost. This EDFA called as Optical Amplifier is available in different versions like rack mountable, bench-top and only as a gain block also. These amplifiers are available in different models to suit the customer’s specific requirements and application. Customized specifications of EDFA are available on request.

The small signal gain can be up to +35 dB
The available output powers are from +10 to +23 dBm
Provision for co-propagating and counter-propagating of pump power.
The unit is provided with RS232 interface, LAN interface along with SNMP capabilities.
The user can set the required output power or define the pump laser drive conditions.
The unit is provided with power supplies, AC mains (90 to 270 V, 50 ± 2 Hz) or -48 ± 4 V or +5V.
