DESCRIPTION OF OREGANO ESSENTIAL OIL
Oregano Essential Oil is extracted from the leaves and flowers of Origanum Vulgare through the process of Steam Distillation. It has originated from Mediterranean region, and widely grown in the temperate and hot regions of the Northern Hemisphere. It belongs to the mint family of plants; Lamiaceae, Marjoram and Lavender and Sage all belongs to the same family. Oregano is a perennial plant; it has purple flowers and green spade like leaves. It is majorly a culinary herb, used popularly in Italian and many other cuisines, oregano is also an ornamental herb.
