Green Strength (Wet Pellets): Organic binders generally provide superior green strength and drop number compared to traditional inorganic binders like bentonite, especially at low dosages.  

Dry Strength (Dried Pellets): They maintain strong binding after the initial drying phase.  

Fired/Indurated Strength (Final Pellets): During the final high-temperature firing stage (up to 1300^\circ\text{C}), the organic material combusts and leaves no residue. The final strength of the pellet then relies entirely on the sintering and recrystallization of the mineral particles themselves, which may result in slightly lower final strength than pellets containing inorganic binders that partially melt to form a glassy phase.
