Organic Black Cumin

Black cumin, tecnically known as Nigella sativa and also known by various other names including black seed and kalonji, are used as a spice and in herbal medicine. These seeds are native to south-west Asia and have been used in cosmetic and foods since ages. Akin to their charcoal black color, they have an earthy and smoky taste and a strongly flavored oil content. Their aroma is similar to fennel and their taste is somewhat similar to nutmeg.
