Properties
lecico p 900 organic is a non-gmo organic
produced deoiled lecithin powder, light tan to medium
yellow in colour for use in various dispersed food
systems and as dietetic health food.
Lecico p 900 organic is neutral in taste, has
a good solubility and acts as dust controller.
As instantizing aid it impoves the wetting
properties of powder used in drinks and helps to disperse
easily hydrophilic and lipophilic components.
It provides manifold concentrated active substances
due to high content of phospholipids and is a natural
source of essential fatty acids.
Packaging
lecico p 900 organic is available in 20 kg
aluminium foil paper bags.
Storage conditions
due to the hygroscopic nature of lecithin products,
lecico p 900 organic should be kept in its sealed
boxes until final usage. The material is sensitive to
light. Lecico p 900 organic has a shelf life of at
least 24 months at a temperature below 25° c and a
relatively humidity of max. 70%.
Regulatory status
lecico p 900 organic corresponds with the
ec nr. E322. According to the regulation no.
11292011eu and no. 2312012eu for food
additives, lecithin is a generally permitted additive.
Labeling of lecico p 900 organic has to be as
followed: emulsifier soya lecithins (e 322).
G m o status
lecico p 900 organic is produced from
conventional non-gmo soybeans and has
not to be labeled regarding regulations ec
18292003 and ec 18302003
