Organic Ginger

Ginger root has a sweet, but pungent spicy flavour and aroma, which goes with meat, fish, vegetables, cakes and sweets. Fresh grated ginger is particularly good with steamed or stir-fried vegetables.
Common Health and Nutritional Beliefs: Used to treat nausea, vomiting, headaches, chest congestion, colds and stomach ache. Anti inflammatory properties may reduce symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
RECIPE: Gingered Pumpkin : Peel, cube and lightly steam a pumpkin. Place in a baking dish with 1tbs grated ginger & 2 tbs of brown sugar. Pour over 250ml of cream. Bake until lighty browned.
