Such manures often allow a soil to hold more water and help improve drainage in clay soils as well. They provide organic acids that help dissolve nutrients in the soil and make them available to the plants.
Kinds of Organic Manure
Farmyard Manure - Leftover / Waste of animals from farm together forming a decomposed mixture. Farmyard manure contains 0.5% potassium oxide, 0.2% phosphorus pentoxide and 0.5% nitrogen.
Goat & Sheep Manure - waste of sheep and goat in a decomposed form contains higher nutrients than farmyard manure. It contains 3% nitrogen, 2% potassium oxide and 1% phosphorous pentoxide.
Poultry Manure - Waste from bird are high in nutrients like phosphorus & nitrogen.
