SQUALANE is the saturated hydrocarbon obtained by the complete hydrogenation of naturally occurring SQUALENE .

Squalane, is a hydrocarbon (C30H62), found naturally in the sebum, secreted by human skin. Produced by the complete hydrogenation of Squalene. It is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and a transparent liquid. It is a non-sticky, non-irritant, non-oxidizing, non-drying, and an extremely stable oil.
