Organic Response Remote Sensor

Organic Response® Remote is a sensor which uses an innovative Proximity Limited Communication system that reacts to occupancy and daylight and then transmits data to nearby luminaires. 

The sensor includes an infrared transmitter and receiver to create the send and receive signal for building wide wireless communications and the patented Proximity Limited Communication system reacts to complex occupancy patterns modifying its behaviour as the building use changes.

The remote sensor can be used to control more than one luminaire and also ensures that luminaires which cannot accommodate sensor node integration still form part of an Organic Response® enabled solution.

• Choice of recessed, surface or suspension mounting is available to accommodate a range of ceiling types
• Detection range up to 6m x 7.5m (based on 2.5m mounting height)
• Recommended mounting height of 2.7m to 3.7m
• Distance between sensor nodes 1m to 3m
• Switches a maximum of 2A of resistive load
• Sensor node and housing finished white
• IP20
• Maximum recessed ceiling thickness - up to 30mm
• Supplied as a kit with sensor node, plastic housing, controller and connecting cable (1 metre JST-RJ45 with earth spade)
• A linking kit (supplied separately) is available for linking two separate sensor controllers together when there is a physical barrier, the linking kit is supplied with 2 x 3m cables
• Organic Response® does not require on site commissioning and functionality can be optimised via a simple intuitive user interface on a smartphone or tablet based app
• Luminaires to be controlled by the remote sensor must utilise an Organic Response® compatible controller (supplied) and an approved driver (contact Whitecroft Controls for more details)

We provide support as part of the cost of your Organic Response® Proximity Limited Communication system or if you need a hand getting your system set up and running we can also offer service levels with extra support options depending on the needs of your business.
