Oxaliplatin Injection

Oxaliplatin Injection is available in vitals of 100mg/20ml, 50mg/10ml and is used with other medications for treating advanced colon/rectal cancer (a type of cancer beginning in large intestine). Further, Oxaliplatin also finds usage with other medications for preventing colon cancer from spreading in people who have undergone surgery for removal of tumor. Coming from the class of medication called platinum-containing antineoplastic agents, Oxaliplatin works by killing cancer cells.

Indication : Oxitan is used in the treatment of metastatic colon or rectal cancer. Oxitan is also may be used for the treatment of late stage ovarian cancer.
