Process of Soaking : 

In Soaking tank, the paddy is soaked in huge vessels with water to rest for specific time and temperature for a particular verity of rice. Special care is taken during soaking different water temperature also different weather condition this process builds nutrient B in rice and decrease the broken percentage of grain. It is also improving the hardness of parboiled rice which retains its shape even after cooking. 

Process of Steaming :

Steaming can change the physical structure of rice and keep the nutrition, to increase the production and make the simple to store and drying. It maintains the grain length and colour of the parboiled rice. This process of pre steaming softens the paddy, to achieve desired colour of par-boiled rice, it reduces the soaking time of the paddy, it also increases the capacity of par-boiled rice to absorb water during cooking
