this paint–remover (rxsol-18-1013) particularly used in aircraft- industry because of its non-reactivity with aluminum , copper , brass and their alloys . Composition:- rxsol-18-1013 is a special blend of advanced organic corrosion protection components with various organic solvents & penetrating agents. Rxsol-18-1013 functions via a unique dual mechanism the penetrating agent reacts with paints components whilst the organic components reacts with metals to form protection film.
applications, dosages & control:-
dip-cleaning:- small parts maybe dipped in an open bucket or tank containing rxsol-18-1013 removed and either wiped dry with a rag or blown dry air. Agitation will facilitate cleaning, but violent agitation such as with air should be avoided since this will increases loss of rxsol-18-1013 evaporation. After use, the cleaning tank should be covered or the solution put into a suitable container for reuse. Solvent resistant gloves should be worn during the dip operation. Wipingbrushing:-large components may be wiped down with rags, sponges or brushes soaked in rxsol-18-1013. Synthetics sponges & brushes should be checked for compatibility with rxsol-18-1013 prior to
use. Adequate ventilation should be provided when this method is used & solvent resistant gloves & protection clothing should be worn.
