Palm jaggery

Palm jaggery is known to have more medicinal and nutritional value than cane sugar. It is a more complex carbohydrate than cane sugar. It is a natural sweetener and energy giving food. Unlike plain sugar and artificial sweeteners it is not just a sweetener but has its own distinct taste. Any sweet dish made with it reveals that the dish has been made with jaggery. It adds its own signature flavour to the dish.
What we do?
Palm jaggery is made naturally hence its mineral content is retained and it is devoid of any harsh chemicals that are used as in the case of manufacturing white sugar. As the process of making palm jaggery does not involve any chemical agents, all the natural mineral salts are retained.
