DESCRIPTION OF PALMAROSA ESSENTIAL OIL
Palmarosa Essential Oil is extracted from the grass or long slender stems and flowerings heads of Cymbopogon Martinii, through Steam Distillation. It is native to India and Indochina and belongs to same family as Lemongrass; Poaceae. It smells like rose and that’s why called Palmarosa or Palm Rose. It has been used in Traditional Medicine and Household for ages. It is an effective insect repellent and can potentially repel bugs and mosquitoes.
Palmarosa Essential Oil is an anti-bacterial and anti-microbial oil is used to treat acne, pimples, blackheads, boils and whiteheads, and that’s why it is a popular ingredient in skin care products.
