Panic Exit Devices

As the name suggests, the main function of a panic-exit device is to allow unhindered exit from a building in the event of an emergency. Häfele’s panic-exit devices are available in two types depending on the form of installation, namely horizontal and vertical panic-exit devices. Suitable for narrow, medium or wide wooden, hollow metal or aluminium-framed doors, these devices come in an attractive aluminium finish that adds elegance to the inherent functionality of this range. Compatible with Häfele’s range of door controllers, these panic-exit devices are non-handed (suitable for both, right and left handed doors) and conform to the prevalent ANSI grading standards (grade II A156.3). Häfele’s panic-exit devices are fire-rated – they are tested to withstand up to 3 hours of exposure to fire.
