It is a native of Central America and Mexico but now it is widely spread and planted in all over the world due to its anti-inflammatory property. Firstly it was planted in Mexico. It is a large plant that grows upto 10 m in height and it has large spiral leaves. Papaya fruit is very sweet in taste when ripes and a little bit of soft in yellow and orange color.
