Paraffin Gauze Dressing

Paraffin Gauze Dressing BP is a sterile paraffin tulle gras dressing made from open weave leno gauze. The gauze has interlocking threads which minimize fraying when the dressing is cut to shape. Paraffin from an occlusive film over the skin, preventing evaporation, thus restoring elasticity of cracked and dry skin by preventing fluid and electrolyte imbalance. Effective dressing for burns patients. Provides non-adherent media for critical wound care. Paraffin Gauze Dressing is not medicated and can be combined with topical medication of choice ideal for use with the topical antiseptic or antibiotic of choice. Manufactured with White Soft Paraffin & Yellow Soft Paraffin. Available in Sofratulle, Paranet, Paratulle Jelonet presentations.
