Produced as per various Indian standards, Our PFB are superior in terms of strength, efficiency, higher axial and bending load bearing capacities, workability and economy vis-a-vis conventional tapered flange beams. These parallel flange beams enable complex fabrications in high volumes due to inherent functional advantages. When used under bending load, steel savings of up to 10-25% are achieved, as beams of lower sectional weight can be used.

    Key Features :

    • Economy.
    • Excellent Durability.
    • Superior Weldability.

Application of Parallel flange beams -

the use of these parallel flange beams in the infrastructure, oil & gas and construction sectors such as refineries, metro rail projects, airports, flyovers, power plants, highways, malls and high rise buildings provides ample proof of its superior product quality, product range and customer service.

    Parallel flange channels

Parallel flange channel is normally called a channel or a C-section. They are described by their depth, width and weight per metre in kilograms, eg. 150 x 75 x 18 PFC. The PFC is used for columns, lintels above doors or simply a beam supporting floor joists. When used for lintels, they have a bottom plate welded to it that takes the outer bricks or 2 channels are bolted back to back with 100 mm spacers to support both leafs of a cavity wall.

    Application :

The use of these parallel flange sections in the infrastructure, oil & gas and construction sectors such as :

    • Refineries.
    • Metro rail projects.
    • Airports, Flyovers.
    • Power plants.
    • Highway, and high rise buildings provides ample proof of its superior product quality, product range and customer service.

    H beams

An H-beam, also known as I-beam, W-beam, Universal Beam (UB), Rolled Steel Joist (RSJ), or double-T is a beam with an I- or H-shaped cross-section. The horizontal elements of the "I" are flanges, while the vertical element is termed the "web". I-beams are usually made of structural steel and are used in construction and civil engineering. H-beams have a high second moments of area, which can result in stiffness compared to cross-sectional area. It is very important for engineers to have understanding of the material and its limitations.

    H-beam are used in :

    • Television towers, car trailers, rails.
    • Building Frames.
    • Floor Framing.
    • Bench Frames.
    • Gates.
    • Scaffolds, Tank Stands, etc.
