Series / Parallel Pump Demonstrator Technical Description The demonstration unit facilitates the measurement of pump curves in various operating modes. The unit comprises 2 identical centrifugal pumps that are connected together via a system of pipes. Shut off valves permit the pumps to be operated in series or in parallel. Electronic sensors provide relevant pressures, the temperature of the pumped medium, and the rotational speed of the drive motors are measured values. The flow rate of the pumps can be adjusted using power adjusters. The following accessories are required for operation: an Interface Module , Data Acquisition Card with Software and a Set of Connecting Cables . This layout makes it possible to record measured values during the experiments, and process and store this data on a PC. Power Meters  are a practical way to expand the unit
