• Pause is used as tablet in treatment of women with cyclical heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia). In the form of an injection, it is used to prevent excessive bleeding during cervical surgery, dental extractions in patients who have a hereditary blood clotting disturbances (hemophilia), surgery for removal of prostate, in hemorrhagic complications associated with therapy used to break down blood clots in the body or in disseminated intravascular coagulation.
