Wuhan Reetec makes two types of superhard composite products: PDC cutters and top dome PDC inserts, using HTHP technology, complicated raw materials and advanced equipments and technology, Wuhan Reetec can produce PDC superhard materials which are leading domestic Level and the first class level.
PDC cutter is made of diamond particles and WC substrate through sintering under HTHP situation. The PDC products combine high wear resistance of diamond and impact resistance of carbide. TR series are divided into two parts of TRA and TRC. This two series simulate modeling by finite element analysis system for the product interface structure, pressure and temperature fields. After optimization, the temperature and pressure fields are more equal, the residual stress distribution is more reasonable. We use special raw materials and unique HTHP process, with a variety of performance evaluation tools, to achieve the perfect combination of wear resistance and impact resistance for the products.
TRA PDC cutters were developed by Wuhan Reetec in 2009, and launched in 2012. With the innovation and optimization in design, process, manufacture and test, the product performance and stability have gained great progresses, TRA PDC cutters performance has achieved leading domestic advanced level in abrasion resistance, impact resistance, heat resistance, suitable for the formations with high wear resistance, and general impact resistance requirements.
TRC PDC cutters are the innovation and optimization on the basis of TRA through optimizing powder grain size, proportion and treatment process as well as pressure, the wear resistance and impact resistance are significantly improved, suitable for high abrasive formations.
