Other places where peridots are found are burma, china, and pakistan. Most beautiful peridots are found from burma and pakistan. However now mostly peridot in market are from china. Bigger sizes i.e 10 carat and up are rare and quite expenses. They are available in mm sizes and far sizes in shape of round, oval, pear, heart, marquies, trillion, square, octogun, cushion, checker boards, buff tops, cabs etc.
As the color forms an integral part of the stone, so it displays no change in color with respect to change in angle or change in the amount of light. Peridots are used in earrings, necklaces, and other types of jewelry.
