Peripheral drive clarifier thickeners:
avighna claritec™ offers rotating half or ¾ structural bridge cum walkway and hand rail spanning over the tank diameter.
Features of peripheral driven clarifiers thickeners
• traction drives are designed with m.s.r.l. c.s.r.l. Traction wheel running over the tank wall.
• centre cage (feed well) is suspended into the tank. The diameter of the centre cage is determined according to the diameter of the tank.
• rake arm mechanism are supported by structural bridge.
• heavy duty turn table (slewing ring assembly) with strip liners and steel balls running over the bearing race is placed over the r.c.c center pier.
• traction bridge rest over the slewing ring assembly and supported with hinge pinpivot arrangement.
• slip ring (current collector) assembly is provided.
• traction drive arrangement is comprised of:
1. traction wheel
2. worm reducer (make: as per client requirement)
3. chain drive with guard
4. motor (make: as per client requirement)
• traction drives are selected to achieve a rake arm tip speed of 2.5 m min, or as requested by the client.
• the settled solids are scrapped by means of a rake arm (scraper) through the central sludge pocket and clear overflow is collected in a peripheral launder.
• in thickeners, picket fences are provided along with the rake arm.
