Perspirometer Package i9 (AATCC)

Dyed & printed Fabric or garments can stain other materials when they come in contact with water and human perspiration (either acidic or alkaline). This important property of textiles is evaluated keeping the sample with adjacent fabrics wetted in perspiration solution under standard pressure. Perspirometer is an appropriate equipment to check color fastness against perspiration.

Paramount (AATCC) is completely made of Stainless Steel (Grade 316) which can accommodate Twenty-One (size: 115 x 60 mm each) Acrylic Separator Plates to test 20 samples together. There are two units with a common Loading Weight means to test up to 40 specimens at a time. The equipment is specially designed to exert a Total Load of 10 lb on each specimen evenly. 8 lb Loading Weight provided along with the equipment, exactly meets AATCC specifications. Special Stainless-Steel springs are also provided to compensate the Shrinkage of samples, as the specimen dry out.
