Contact SupplierThe PFA Lined Plug Valve is designed for highly corrosive and aggressive chemical service, featuring a durable body typically made from ductile iron or carbon steel with a seamless, chemically bonded Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) polymer lining. This lining provides outstanding resistance to a wide range of acids, bases, solvents, and chlorinated compounds, ensuring long-term reliability in corrosive fluid handling. The plug is fully encapsulated with PFA and operates with a smooth quarter-turn motion, offering tight shut-off and minimal torque requirements. These valves are generally rated for pressure classes up to PN 10/16 or ANSI Class 150, and can operate in temperature ranges from -20°C to +200°C, depending on the process media. The design is cavity-free, preventing media accumulation and reducing contamination risk, making it especially suitable for chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and wastewater treatment. Standard end connections include flanged ends (as per ASME B16.5 or DIN EN 1092-1), and the valve construction complies with international standards such as API 599, DIN 3202, and ASME B16.34. The PFA lining ensures excellent non-stick properties, low permeability, and mechanical stability under vacuum and pressure conditions.
