A pH Meter determines the hydrogen-ion (acidity or alkalinity) concentration in the solution. An electrical conductivity meter measures the total ion concentration of solutions. These measurements are important in medicine, biology, chemistry, agriculture, food science, environmental science, oceanography, nutrition, water treatment and water purification and many other applications.
