1. spirulina(platensis, lonar, maxima species). Maintained in zarrouk’s modified medium and adapted to organic medium before mass cultivation. Provide 70-75% protein content with high phycocyanin content. The cultures are maintaining in the room temperature of 20°c with the light source of cool-white fluorescent lamps with the light intensity of 3200 lux (maximum).
The periodicity of light is 12/12 h l/d. Cultures are available in 50ml, 100ml and 1litre volume.
