Star gel stainless steel pickling paste pickling gel is used to clean stainless steel weld seams and surrounding areas. It is applied with nylon bristles brush. It is used to remove heavy scales, discolouration, annealing colours, rust particles near weld and welding affected area by heat. It helps to detect pinholes after welding. Star gel does not give black or yellow stain marks after washing with water. Star gel does not necessary require separate passivation chemical process. Coverage : approx. 90 to 100 meters of weld seam per kg " star gel " & other products in star range of `fumeless' pickling passivation chemicals are well accepted by major inspection agencies.
