PILOT SCALE FREEZE DRYER

Pilot Scale Freeze Dryer are specially designed for drying processes of large-scale production units(20-100 litres). Prefreezing and drying will be realized on liquid temperature controlled shelves inside the separate drying chamber (double-chamber-system). Due to the temperature control of the stainless steel shelves (via a synthetic heat-transfer medium), these pilot systems fulfil the highest standards of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Freeze drying is the process of removing the moisture from a biological product while maintaining the Integrity of the products biological & chemical structure and activities. Beside the normal drying applications our Pilot Freeze Drier are fit to be used for various applications tests involving micro-organisms, plants, tissues etc.

• Defrosting without water: Radiation from shelf defrost ice condenser coils fast and efficient. No production of additional waste.
• Most efficient condenser design : Ice condenser coils directly inside drying chamber improves drying time and prevents vapour bypass to vacuum pumps.
• Vial stoppering plus flask drying: Multi-purpose device with optional connections for up to 4 flasks. Controlled and safe vial stoppering via manual operation (automatic as option).
• Micro-processor based Controllers (HMI+PLC as an option)
• Hermetically sealed compressor maintains temperature up to -80°C
• Temperature controller cum indicator Vacuum drum is made of non-magnetic Stainless steel
• Quick seal valves/ports for manifold drying.
• Vacuum Pump - Providing an environment that allows for easy removal of water molecules from the sample is critical to successful freeze drying. A vacuum pump is needed to lower the pressure around the product being freezed. Select from standard or chemical resistant models to enable freeze drying with more aggressive solvents
• Sample containers - Sturdy, borosilicate glass vessels options include flasks, serum bottles, vials, and ampules
• Range of manifolds in clear acrylic or stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance
