Pine Wood Shavings - Coarse

These shavings, manufactured at our plant in KZN, are made up of coarse medium to large size flakes. This product is extremely popular with our customers for stabling horses as the strength and thickness of the flakes mean that the bedding is not chopped and ground to dust by the horses’ hooves. These shavings are almost dust free and have an enormous benefit to horses in that there are no fine particles to inhale. This, together with the quality of the flakes, assists in creating a softer bed for the horse that resists compaction, thereby offering more comfort and support. This also ensures better protection for hooves and joints - saving you vet bills!
