Ex: if the time is set for 3minutes, the lights will turn off after 3 minutes, if there was a movement at the end of 2minutes, then the lights will be off only after 5minutes(=3+2). This way if there is an occupancy movement in the detection area distance the lights will remain on. The sensitivity knob is used to increase decrease the detection distance area. Every sensor has a detection distance,( for the ceiling mount sensor, when erected at a height of 3.00 mtrs, it covers a an area of 6mtr radius) it can be mounted on ceiling wall, the mounting height varies from 1.8 mtr to 3.8 mtrs. An electrician can easily install this device. Every sensor is attached with an installation manual showing connection diagram.
