HOW TO USE: Take Piroxicam tablet/capsule orally once a day with full glass of water. To prevent the stomach upset take this medicine with milk or food. Do not lie down for at list 10-15 minute after taking the medicine.

HOW PIROXICAM WORKS: Piroxicam is NSAIDs medicine it gives anti-inflammatory actions by preventing the production of prostaglandin which cause pain and inflammation.

PHARMACOKINETICS OF PIROXICAM: Piroxicam absorbed rapidly after the oral administration. The volume of distribution of Piroxicam is 0.14 l/kg. The half-life of Piroxicam is between 30-86 hours. Approximately 5% Piroxicam is excreted by the urination.

SIDE EFFECTS: The common side effects like nausea, dizziness, vomiting, stomach pain, and headache are seen in patients. Contact your doctor if you see side effects like stomach/abdominal pain/ high blood pressure, chest pain, irregular heartbeats, sudden weight gain, weakness.
