Pitot Tube Flow Meter

Bc-pt pitometer is based on the principle of differential pressure measurement of the traditional pitot tube for design.it can be used for all kinds of boilers,furnaces and flue exhaust pipes of mine gas velocity,dynamic pressure,static pressure and temperature on-line monitoring.
Bc-pt pitot tube flow meter is mainly composed of the “s” type pitot tube detection head,pitot tube protection sleeve,differential pressure transmitter,purge control solenoid valve and control box.for the models with pressure and temperature measurement,there are additional pressure and temperature transmitters.
When measuring,the pitot tube detection head is inserted into the pipeline,and the dynamic pressure and static pressure probe center axis in the flow section center and consistent with the flow direction,the total pressure probe hole positive coping flow, and to detect the total pressure of the fluid flow,then pass to the transmitter,at the same time,static probe hole pickup will also transfer
to the throttle pressure transmitter,the transmitter read the total static pressure value,the total pressure = dynamic pressure + law of static pressure,seek out the difference and application of the formula to calculate the flow velocity,and also flue cross-sectional area of the pitot tube input control board,calculate the gas flow velocity.it can be displayed directly in the field and convert it to the corresponding velocity ratio of current (4~20ma) output to the dcs。equipped with temperature and pressure transmitter integration pitot tube current meter can also convert the measured velocity calculation to gb standards state of flow,and meet the requirements of the national standard of cems flow measurement.
