Pivot Bushing

This PA Pivot Bushing is used within a medical bed application
Fabricated from nylon with a molybdenum additive for increased lubricity, Gemini Plastics, Inc. manufactured this pivot bushing for use within a medical bed application. Our challenge was to keep the tolerances to a very tight ± 0.005" on the diameters and ±1ᵒ on the contours. Our expert machinists crafted the precision tooling required to meet this requirement, and utilizing our 75 ton injection molding press, we produced 5,000 of these 1.50" O.D., 0.515" I.D., and 0.75" high bushings. Quality was assured by a first article inspection, as required by QS 9000, and the units were shipped to the customer on a 3-4 week turnaround.
