Coir is a biodegradable organic fiber material that is coarse, rigid, and strong. The coir in the form of woven mesh mattings or nonwoven stitch-bonded blankets are used in engineering applications in the geotechnical field.
The intense rain increases with the steepness of the slope of the surface. Wind too causes such erosion. Geotextiles are used extensively in erosion control works. The ultimate objective of it is to establish a dense network of root systems and vegetable cover. The high tensile strength of coir fibers protects steep surfaces from heavy flows and debris movement. Geotextiles are permeable textile fabrics used to prevent the soil from migrating while maintaining the water flow.

We have a bigger unit today in Alappuzha in Kerala manufacturing items like coir & rubber mats, coir products, jute mats, yoga mats, coir geotextile, curled coir ropes and jute rugs. In our unit, we are continually researching and have come up with very innovative items that have caught on the fancy in the international market. This attribute has helped us to scale our production and we have increased in leaps and bounds since we began our new unit in 2020.
The raw inputs are an issue at all. It is all within our control because we source locally from farmers all over the state which has loads of coconut trees to boost our supplies. With technology and innovation on our side, today we have become a household name with the basic products that we manufacture with precision and care.
Every step of the production is carefully manned so that the costs can be reduced. In this way, we have been able to bring to our customers very cost-effective products that have become very much accepted as well appreciated for their aesthetic appeal and quality.
