Made up of food grade material It is made up of BPA free plastic and it is break resistant. The apple cover is in the shape of actual apple unlike others which are in the shape of a bowl and has not so good ring lock. It has a locking mechanism and for extra safety it doesn't just have one but two locks.  It even has holes for oxygen ventilation. The banana cover also have all the same features as apple cover.
