Dalton quartz grits sand is known for its inertness and resistivity heat, chemicals and abrasion. It is used in sand blasting, abrasive industry and oil drilling for its high abrasive resistance. Due to its abundance in nature it is used as filler in rubber and paint industries.  Quartz sand, free from iron is non conductive to electric current is ideal aggregate for manufacturing electrical and electronic components.
