Merocrit (Meropenem ) is a prescription drug used to treat serious bacterial infections.

Strengths available :  1gm, 125mg, 250mg, 500mg Injection

Storage :  Store at temperature between 15ºC – 25ºC

Dosage :

Skin and Structure Infection :

• 500 mg IV every 8 hours
• Complicated infections due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa: 1 g IV every 8 hours

Intraabdominal Infection :

• 1 g IV every 8 hours

Meningitis :

• 2 g IV every 8 hours for 7 to 21 days

Nosocomial Pneumonia :

• 1 g IV every 8 hours
